In Your Area

No state contributes to global warming more than Texas, and no state will suffer more from the consequences of a hotter climate. If Texas were its own nation it would rank 7th in the world for GHG emissions! We only have 10 years to reverse the effects of global warming before they are irreversable and our climate is intolerable.

With the temperature increases from global warming, Texans can expect to see more droughts, wildfires, insect-borne illnesses, floods, more intense summers and dry seasons, coastal erosion, ozone pollution, insurance rate hikes, and heat waves. The EPA projected the the number of deaths due to heat in the D/FW area will triple by 2050!
