COOLER HOMES

Cool your home by being energy efficient and using ENERGY STAR products that use 20-40% less energy than standard new products. Turn down your AC/Heating and water thermostats when you aren't using them and use water more efficiently. Retrofit your home or build green if you are building a new home.

COOLER POWER

Purchase renewbale energy and you can cut your CO2 emissions by at least 50%! You can also use solar thermal water heaters to cut your energy needs and cost.

COOLER VEHICLES

Alternative vehicles and fuels release less greenhouse gases into our atmosphere and are quickly becoming more economical as our oil and gas prices continue to rise. You can also upgrade your vehicle so it can use biofuels that burn cleaner than gasoline and standard diesel does. Driving less and more efficiently also cuts down your emissions and gas bill.

COOLER LEADERS

Get involved and encourage your representatives to take action in the fight to stop global warming. Join your local environmental groups and help move your community toward sustainability.

Visit Public Citizen's site to send a message to Governor Perry and the other candidates asking for their plan on global warming for Texas. Let the candidates for Governor know that global warming is an important issue and your vote depends on it!
